We are currently undertaking a long-term forestry project for the regeneration of the Whitehill & Borden site. This former army base is undergoing a full redevelopment to create 2,400 sustainable homes for private sale, 3,000 new jobs, a new town centre including a new school and GP surgery and an abundance of open green space.
We are undertaking a large amount of harvesting and timber extraction, including stump removal to create new open space for the development. A key part of the project is the conversion of the 54 hectare Hogmoor Inclosure into a beautiful green space with forest walks and cycle paths for the community to enjoy. This regeneration is currently underway, having moved tonnes of heather cuttings from Dorset onto site, which are now taking root.
